What you are signing up for

The The Flower Shop text program sends deals, new drops, and store updates from our Houston shop. It is a marketing program, and it is separate from any transactional message you might get about an order.

You must be 18 or older to join, and old enough under Texas law to shop with us.

How you join

On our website. You give us your name, mobile number and email on our registration page or a form on this site, and tick the consent box. The box is never ticked for you. The exact wording you agree to is:

“I agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (deals, new drops, and store updates) from The Flower Shop at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

In the shop, you scan the QR card at the register and fill in the same page on your own phone. Staff never type your number in for you and never tick the box on your behalf.

Saying yes is the whole of it: there is nothing else to reply to and nothing else to confirm. You can get off the list at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Consent is never required to buy anything

Joining the text program is not a condition of any purchase and has no effect on pricing, service, or anything else in store. You can shop with us and never receive a single message.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies, typically a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier, not by us. We do not charge for the program.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any message to be removed. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number

We use your number to send the messages described above. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

We keep a record of when you agreed, what wording you agreed to, and where you agreed, so we can show that your consent was given.

Contact

Questions about the text program can go to the shop, or use the contact form.
